Most Meridian public schools are served by West Ada School District, but assignments depend on the property address. GreatSchools data displayed by Redfin currently shows multiple area elementary schools rated 10 out of 10, including Cecil D. Andrus, Hillsdale, Hunter, Prospect, and Paramount. Business and development watch
The 222-acre District at Ten Mile is one of Meridian's most visible growth projects. Announced tenants and uses include Target, Life Time, In-N-Out, hotels, restaurants, retail, and housing. A new South Meridian Costco is also scheduled for late 2026. Development plans and opening dates can change, so current project information should be confirmed before relying on it.
What the numbers mean for a buyer
Meridian's citywide median price is the highest among the four cities in this guide, but individual neighborhoods and new-construction communities can behave very differently. Builder incentives, temporary buydowns, HOA dues, taxes, and the permanent loan payment should be compared together.
